Surgeons and ORP attend Course on Basic Principles of Fracture Management
On November 3-4, 2017, surgeons and operating room personnel (ORP) gathered in Dharan, Nepal for the AO Alliance’s two courses on the Basic Principles of Fracture Management.
The event attracted 88 participants, split evenly between the courses, from Nepal, Bangladesh and India.
Through lectures, group discussions and practical workshops, AO Alliance International Faculty, Dr Heiner Winker taught participants the Basic Principles of Fracture Management. The course was organized by Dr Rosan Prasad Shah Kalawar (Surgeon Course Chair), Desai Dhaval (Regional Course Chair from India), and Dr Ram Shah (AOA Asia Regional Director, and Surgeon Course Chair).
The two courses, held at the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), were conducted in parallel, one for surgeons and the other for nurses.
