The AO Alliance is thrilled to announce the launch of Online Learning: our new orthopedic trauma education and resource platform. The carefully curated platform by healthcare workers for healthcare workers offers a variety of expert resources for application in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Two online courses are available for surgeons here: Distal Radius Fractures: Evidence-Based Management and Fracture-Related Infections.
The Distal Radius Fractures – Evidence-Based Management course consists of short evidence-based lectures. Case presentations are included for course participants to review. This course is intended for anyone dealing with distal radius fractures, those eager to keep abreast of the newest research on both diagnosis and treatment of these injuries, and those seeking creative solutions for more complex cases and complications.
The Fracture-Related Infections (FRIs) course covers three modules: prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of FRIs.
Our online courses are open to all medical professionals, and registration is free. Participants only need to register online to have access to the courses.
Additional courses will be released gradually. For the moment, our offering is in English, but we are planning to provide courses in French.
